'Kabe Koji' differs slightly as the lead is not in the same profession as his crush (idol & doujin artist), unlike 'BL Drama' where both leads are actors. However, there are many similarities between the lead's admiration/obsession with their respective crushes, including being secret fans of their famous crush, having a collection of their merch/shrine and a connection to said crush in their past.

They have a similar bubbly extrovert vs cold introvert dynamic, sprinkled with an inability to communicate well.

They also both have a similar style of Japanese comedy, which is silly but not too over-the-top. If you like one, I'm sure you will enjoy the other.

Two people feel an instant connection at first sight, with the love of a previous lifetime connecting them.
UWMA is a modern-day reincarnation/soulmates story and the two gradually remember their past connection throughout the series, whereas IFYLITA has the added element of time travel and living out their past meeting. Both have a very similar vibe and an unravelling mystery/family conflict to accompany the romance.

An emotionally immature main character suffers a trauma in the past that causes them to have trouble sleeping. Their love interest helps provide a comfort/solution for this problem which helps them bond.
The 'top' in each show is also a wealthy heir to a business.

Both shows feature an office romance, in which the main couple have a Boss/employee relationship. In both shows the boss is the son of the company owner.

The main difference is that Poongduck 304 heavily features the main leads living together as part of their conflict, as well as being a Korean BL compared to Step by Step which is Thai.

Both are Japanese productions that feature the male lead becoming involved with another guy who is responsible for raising a child (sibling vs own child). 'Our Dining Table' is much more lighthearted, whilst 'His' is more realistic with the topic of child custody.

'His' is the sequel movie to the series 'His - Koisuru Tsumori Nante Nakatta', which focuses on how the main characters met during their youth, but the movie can be watched as a stand-alone.
