Preferences in Dramas:
I love exploring a range of shows, especially those from the past five years, but I'm always up for a classic film or drama. I am open to dramas of all genres. As long as the story is compelling and the cast, need not necessarily be stellar, is fitting and does justice to their roles --> bringing their character to life, I will watch the drama/movie.
Countries I Watch: Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai series are my top picks.
Favorite Genre: Romance, and Sad Genres.
Genres I Tend to Avoid: Wuxia and historical dramas.
•Do you binge or space it out? Lil' of both. Actually, it depends a bit on my study schedule as I'm currently a uni student. Most of the time I go with the flow. But I prefer to binge shows and Anticipating each week's new episode brings a unique blend of excitement, eagerness, and suspense, painting emotions that words can't capture fully.
•What do you expect out of your dramas? In the case of suspense-thriller, I expect my dramas to make me hooked with the plot twists and in the case of romance, I prefer it to make me feel butterflies in my stomach with the chemistry between leads. I also like Sad or trauma-filled films and shows captivate me because my soul feels lifeless, and the resulting emptiness oddly satisfies me.

“Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t need to, it’s not for them.”
How I Started My Journey: From Anime to K-Dramas:
I first discovered this website in 2023, after diving deep into the K-Drama world. At the time, I was a university student, navigating the uncertainties of my dreams and searching for something to fill the void within me. ?
It all began in November or December 2022, when I stumbled upon the enchanting world of Dramaland. Initially, I was hesitant, as anime had always been my sanctuary—a safe space that allowed me to escape the pain and harshness of reality. Anime was my soul, my everything, offering me an imaginary world where I could lose myself. I never imagined that anything else could compare.
But then, one fateful day, curiosity got the best of me. I decided to watch a K-drama, and something unexpected happened—I felt an overwhelming connection. It was as if the characters were speaking directly to my heart, their struggles mirroring my own. I was hooked, and before I knew it, I was watching dramas day and night, my sleep schedule completely thrown off balance.
People around me noticed my obsession. They couldn't understand why I was so deeply invested in this world that wasn't real. But they didn't see what I saw—the lifeline that these stories offered me. Watching dramas became my way of escaping reality, of finding solace in a world where emotions ran deep and characters faced challenges that I could relate to. It was an addiction, yes, but it was also a source of comfort, something that made me feel alive.
K-dramas were my first love, a love that introduced me to the beauty of storytelling and the power of emotion. But as they say, first love never works out. Eventually, I found myself moving on to C-Dramas, discovering new stories and characters that brought me even more happiness. ?
Despite everything, I can't help but cherish the journey that brought me here. The fictional world remains my refuge, the only thing that brings me true joy now. And while those around me may never fully understand, I know that this love for dramas is something I will never let go of??
Heartfelt Ratings:
I give generous ratings because I deeply appreciate the hard work actors put in to bring joy to viewers. My ratings, often 10s, reflect my emotional connection to the drama or movie. If I feel the characters' emotions, relate to their stories, or find the production beautiful or heartbreaking—enough to shed a tear—I’m inclined to score it highly, usually between 8.5 and 10.
