I continuously tried to justify Blood's shortcomings to myself - I wanted to like it, I really did. Then came the one part that was just too much for me to excuse: the ending. Within minutes of finishing this drama, I took to the internet to have the finale explained to me. What was I missing? Every minute of the last episode made less sense than the one preceding. Reviews and recaps confirmed that the ending was nonsensical - I hadn't missed a thing. In the comments, fans of Blood ignored logic, trying to rationalize the shreds of a story viewers were left with.

The lead acting was mediocre at best. I compliment Goo Hye Sun on her improvement, but it wasn't enough to warrant another lead role. I desperately wish Ahn Jae Hyeon had stuck to modeling and minor roles, because I'm left with a sour resentment towards his involvement in this drama that will take a long time to heal. The supporting cast was average and unmemorable, bordering on uncomfortable to watch. The exception is Son Soo Hyeon, who made the best of a lack luster character.

Musically, Blood neither excelled nor stood out. The scores were overused enough that when a certain tune began, you could predetermine the outcome of the accompanying scene. The OST features boring ballads, certainly nothing I would want hear of my own volition.

In order to re-watch Blood, I would have to be offered money. Even then, it would take a heavy amount of consideration based on both how much money I was being offered, and how little else I had to do at the time.

I'm left with feelings of resentment, but at who, I don't know. Maybe the writers, for attempting to pass of this untenable excuse of a story. Maybe at myself, for excusing Blood's flaws until it was too late to quit.

I believe that lighthearted dramas deserve a story beyond repeated cliches and poorly developed characters. If you think the same, this drama is not for you. The plot came across as if it were thrown together with no plan, leaving me to question what the point of most scenes were. Entire episodes dragged on with no meaning or progression.

Jung Eun Ji, Ji Hyun Woo, and Shin Sung Rok were all excellent leads; they made the best out of their dull, lifeless characters. The rest of the acting was average, if not below.

In terms of fulfilling the musical aspect of it's story, I was surprised at how well it excelled my expectations. Unlike many musical dramas, they did not repeat the same soundtrack song at every opportunity they could (Dream High, anyone?). The variance in trot songs was delightful.

If the first time watching this drama lacked any element of surprise, I cannot imagine how grueling a second run would be. Having to sit through this show knowing that nothing you are watching contributes to the story is entirely too mind numbing.

Overall, it is not something I would recommend. I was a victim of my own bias toward the leading actors, and without them, I would not have made it through this drama.

It blows my mind that someone was paid to write such a detrimentally flawed and pointless story as this one. What began as plot developments were turned to anecdotes. For the majority of the episodes, you are stuck burning time with dry subplots. When the main plot decides to make an appearance, it is so senseless that you're left in a state of bewilderment.

I'm unsure if the characters were written to be so offensively annoying, or if the acting made them out to be so. Either way, these "actors" should choose another line of work.

At the time I'm writing, I've just finished this drama, but I literally cannot remember a single song that was in it. The soundtrack obviously did not leave an impression.

There is no way on God's green Earth I would be able to re-watch this drama. My disgust for the characters would increase tenfold.

Overall, this is not the absolute worst drama I have ever watched, but it is really close. At the very least, I didn't drop it.
