Both are Thai BL Drama Series that have a gangster vibe to them. In The Heart Killers, it is about a pair of hitmen brothers and a police spy and his mechanic friend. In Jack & Joker, it is about an ex-convict / thief and an enforcer for the mafia.

Both The Heart Killers and Long Time No See are centered around a hitman based storyline that also includes BL or Gay Romance.

Although they are from different countries (one is Korean, the other Chinese), I have to say both are masterpieces. The fantasy element is what really stands out in these dramas. The acting is top-notch in both, and they share common themes such as mystery, powers, romance, friendship, strong lead characters, and humor. If you liked one, you'll undoubtedly like the other.

This dark vibe is central to both, exposing how toxic things can get behind closed doors.

Underdogs Fighting Back: Both shows follow underdog main characters who decide to break free from being bullied. Si-eun in Weak Hero Class doesn’t back down, using his wits to outmaneuver his bullies, while in The Pyramid Game, the protagonist wants to expose the ranking system’s unfairness and take it down. Both characters show a fierce courage in standing up to the power structure.

Impact on Mental Health: These dramas don’t just show the physical side of bullying—they also dig into how it affects people mentally. Both highlight the trauma, anger, and loneliness the characters go through, making it clear that bullying leaves a deep mark that’s not easy to shake off.
