This episode was simply awesome. It had a lot more depth than the other episodes and the character developing was simply genius. I loved when Hang Ah takes a break from training and when she sees him she sighs, like she's glad that he's there. It just felt absolutely real.
Obviously there were many emotional parts in this episode, I didn't know if I should cry or feel happy.

Grumpy Witch Yao Yao lent Xian Yue her soul and they become two in one body. Yao Yao talks so much and this sort of drives Xian Yue up the wall. So much, that Xian Yue asks Yao Yao if she's not tired from all the talking she has done...lol

Witchgirl247 I like it!! This episode was definitely better than the last. It's a lot more mature than the dramas that I usually watch, so I find that it can be a bit slow at parts, but surprisingly I haven't skipped any parts of the episode. I find the slow parts to be interesting as well. If you're looking for a fast paced drama, I don't think you'll find it here. I honestly love the chemistry between the two leads. It's amazing!

helloflower This episode, i learnt sooo much!!! I cant believe Dong Wook became a physicist...wow!! Dong Wook's son is 2 die 4 he is adorable!!! OMG, this might get complecated if u think about it. If Yoo Hee(2012) is alive and In Ha(2012) they might fall for each other and Seo Joon and Ha na will be bro and sis if they get married how awkward!!! Never mind, sorry... anyway the ep itself was amazing!! My favourite part...when they went 2 eat 2gether!!That was a good part.. is it just me or does the assistant come between everything eg. the kiss, giving of that ring, the dress etc. LOL reminds me of Chan Bo in heartstrings!! Can't wait till next ep!!!

I thought his reaction to the oxygen tank was hilarious.
I also laughed a lot when she said "We are doomed, we killed a god" Jajajajaja....I remember it and it just makes me laugh.
It was also funny, how his reaction to the fire god taking the tank was like "No!!! He has my new toy!" while hers (who knows what will happen when an oxygen tank is exposed to fire) is like "Crap! Run!!!" Jajajajaja...

Why am I making an episode review again? Oh yeah. I got my mind effed last night. A birth secret cliche with an extra-twist? Never saw it coming. The parallels are becoming clearer now. Hopefully Lee Gak can discover things naturally, just as the dynamics of his romance with Bak Ha is unfolding naturally. C,mon Princey, you play around with her all day and then at the end of the day, you come at Sena's beck and call?? Wake up, boy!
I know the trio is being used for comic relief but I had hoped for more substance that came along with the humor (or maybe I really need those subs). They contributed nicely in Ep 1 where they searched for clues to the Crown Princess' murder--where are those scenes now?
Scenes with Tae Mu and Se Na are glaring now and are impossible to ignore. Well, ok fine, I get it's necessary for conflict and resolution. Tae Mu for Tae Yong and Se Na for Lee Gak and Bak Ha. But oh oh oh~~these four can get so complicated...

Doremeduck I'm not mad at the episode, or the acting, or any of that. What I'm mad about is the fact that the episode ended, and at a really good part too!! This drama is getting better and better each episode. I really liked this episode for the interaction between the two leads and how the audience got to see the characters from the 70s in modern day. I want to see the next episode right this minute. :|

I found ironically hilarious how Mo Yin is so deluded and blinded by her obsession, yes obsession that is not love, for Rong Di that she says "Once Xian Yue is dead he'll forget her..." (Or something like that...) I actually went "She's been there and done that...for 20 years... and Rong Di didn't forget about her even for one second."
She keeps blaming everyone for all the decisions she has made. just grow up.

It was a bit of a slow start but I like the premise of the drama so I'll keep watching. It definitely is a bit more mature than my usual dramas. To be honest I didn't really like Hyun Bin's look in Secret Garden, but in this drama he looks hot!! Also Song Hye Kyo has to be one of the prettiest and curviest Korean actresses out there. I'm a girl but I can't help but notice that she does seem to have more curves than most Korean actresses. I like the idea of the drama and I love the actors so I'll keep watching.

I was annoyed through out this whole episode. I loved how Park Ha didn't back down before SeNa, and how she said all she felt was pity. But I hate what Lee Gak is doing....The "cute, fluffy" moments had me seething with annoyance. Men....
I did like the Yong Seol and other guys parts.
And that witch SeNa...
Like PD told me, I really do have a love-hate relationship with this drama. I completely loved Eps. 5 & 6 and maybe I hoped for a little too much in this one...Oh, well...lol
And I'm being completely nice with my score because of the parts I did enjoy. But ...ugh...

VioletSakura This drama is going to be the death of me... if SUCH events occur not even in the middle, what's going to be happening in the later episodes? I'm honestly afraid to imagine, it gives me chills (actually in a good way)... As it's an awesome drama.

amrita828 No spoiler had prepared me to the beautiful execution of this episode. The sweetness of the king and queen's last moments, their quiet falling asleep was 100 times more poignant than any burst of violence could have been.
And the undertone of the whole last minutes, the brilliant acting paired with the wonderful music really made me cry.
Falling in love with a drama can be almost painful.

purplenette I kinda understand Jae Ha because I was like that when I was younger...I was never going to be in a relationship and I didn't believe in love...then when it hit me in the face I tried to sabotage it. I think he is a lot like that until the KISS!!! Whoop Whoop!!! Then her father and the king walking in on it was priceless. This is fast becoming my favorite KD!!!

Actually the MOST AWESOME episode yet... I just can't stop weeping for the 10th minute and get together to watch the next one...
This is why I am so grateful I am an ordinary person... I was looking at Jae-Ha's face and then listening to what his mother was telling him in front of people and then alone... this is really painful not to be allowed to be weak even for a second...
The director is just driving the viewers crazy... Not that I was not expecting for the King and Queen to die... but THAT way? During their vacation and talk about having children??? Top of cruelness...
